Yardwork with the Broadmoor, Yeoman & Broadmoor 738

Olivia and Alex helped me out today spreading topsoil where our well had been dug.  Olivia did a great job with her Yeoman 616 spreading the piles out, then Alex did a good job grading and rolling with his Broadmoor to make it more level.  They both did awesome! 

Broadmoor helps grade

Even though this is the oldest of our tractors, at 56 years old, it still does work. I used Alex's Broadmoor to grade an area by our pond that we are trying to clean up. Several stumps had been pulled out so it was very uneven, but it did a great job at leveling it out.

Abby does her first mowing

Abby did her first mowing today on her Simplicity Broadmoor 717!  She did an awesome job, even making her cuts fairly straight! She was having fun and getting work done!

First mow of 2019 and more chores

Today I mowed for the first time in 2019, and Izzy used her 515 Serf to fertilize the yard and I used Abby's Broadmoor 717 to move around some implements and wood for a fire tonight.

Had the Broadmoor 738 and Yeoman 616 out today helping clean up the yard. And endless battle!

Yeoman 627

Yesterday a friend let me come pick up this Yeoman 627 and just gave it to me. I plan to try and get it running but at worst it will be spares for Olivia's 616.

Got to use three today!

Spring yard cleanup started today, still dealing with the tree leftovers from last fall. Lots to still clean up. But we used to the Simplicity Broadmoor 738 and Simplicity Yeoman 616 to help haul away stuff we raked up, then used the early Simplicity Broadmoor to help grade out some areas the trees made uneven. Got a lot done!
