Used 3 tractors in cleanup

Started hitting the tree cleanup hard this weekend. Used the Simplicity Sovereign with the chipper for the smaller stuff and the Simplicity 738 Broadmoor and Serf for the bigger cleanup. Izzy even helped me with a few loads on her Serf.

Good to have backups

Well, this year has been a fun one with the pandemic going on but the tractors seem to have got together to really make me work to keep them going! Below is Mandy's 738 Broadmoor with Abby's 36 inch mowing deck on it. Hard to argue with the results. But currently Emma's tractor is running good but needs blades sharpened and a new deck belt. Abby's tractor is running rough but the mower deck is good, and Mandy's tractor is running good but needs blades sharpened. Time to get them all running and mowing!

Sovereign Fun...sort of

First the good. I hooked up the belly blade to my Simplicity Sovereign for the first time and used it Sunday to help even out a patch of dirt so we can plant grass and mow it. I realized I have now used the grader blade, the plow, the chipper, the weed cutter and of course the mower.This has been a versatile tractor! And then I went to start it up and put it away and the battery had shorted. So it got a new battery this weekend. Yippee!

Got the chipper working!

This weekend I got the Mighty Mac chipper finally hooked up to the Sovereign. Unfortunately it took me most of the morning to get a few things I needed and put the hitch back on the tractor so it could hook on properly. But once I got it hooked up it worked great. Now I have a way to start putting a dent in the wood pile from the trees we cut down almost two years ago!

Used 4 tractors today!

Did some more yard cleanup and had the first mow of the season today. Abby and Izzy helped some with the mowing duties, and Liv and Mandy used their tractors for cleanup duty.
