Never gets old

It sprinkled just enough last night while I was mowing to dampen the lawn, and when I finished I noticed how much it made the striping stand out.  Not bad for a 50 year old tractor. This Simplicity 717 still stripes the lawn amazingly well.

Tractors of all sizes and colors!

Today we got out several tractors and went to the grounds where the steam tractor show is held.  The lineup was the 5hp Simplicity Serf 515, the 7hp Simplicity Broadmoor 717, the 7hp Allis Chalmers B-207e, a 50hp John Deere and a 65hp Case.  We had a blast running the tractors, the kids had fun, as you can see from the smiles!

Since Izzy's 515 Serf doesn't do a lot of work, as far as mowing and snow duties are concerned, I thught I would at least make hers look the meanest.  I love how it looks, and more importantly, so does Izzy!

Alex's Broadmoor gets some running time

Finally got time to get Alex's Simplicity Broadmoor checked out and fired up today.  I don't think it has ran since last July. It fired right up and he drove it around for a little while.  His is one of my favorites, being the oldest.  It is 54 years old this year.  Ran well and no issues!

Izzy's Serf does some hauling

Isabelle's Simplicity Serf 515 got to do some hauling this afternoon while we were cleaning out our pond.  Izzy had fun driving it around helping out.

Izzy gets new tires for her 515 Serf for her birthday

For Izzy's 8th birthday I got the rear tires replaced on her Simplicity Serf 515.  The best part is still to come, I have some wheels I am going to paint and mount matching AG tires on to make her tractor have dual rear wheels.  Hopefully can get it done in a couple weeks!  Can't wait.
