Day three of Mason tractor show

It was definitely a relaxed final day, we were all tired. We did end the show with a Simplicity tractor parade, from first to last, Izzy on her 1967 515 Serf, Abby on her 1967 717 Broadmoor, Alex on his 1963 Broadmoor, Olivia on her 1967 616 Yeoman, and Mandy on her 1971 535 Serf. This got plenty of smiles from people as we drove by.

Day two of Mason tractor show

Today was a rare short day for me at the tractor show. I took my son to see his favorite soccer team Manchester United playing in the Big House in Ann Arbor, MI.  We still managed to get a little cruising done, and a small Simplicity parade!

Day one of Mason tractor show

Day one of the Mason Steam Engine and Threshers show went great. Izzy and Abby have driven their Simplicity's quite a bit, Izzy pulling friends and family around the grounds. When I used Olivia's Simplicity 616 Yeoman to pull a large hay wagon full of people around the grounds we had people taking photos and video, it must have looked pretty impressive!

Got all the tractors over to the grounds now, and we had some fun with a couple of them. My nephew Jace drove his Allis Chalmers B207e and Abby drove her Simplicity 717 Broadmoor, both 1967 models.

Some pre-show fun

Today we got almost everything over to the grounds that needs to be.  Just one tractor left(on mowing duty) at the house to take over, and one trailer. So we played a little, Alex on his 1963 Simplicity Broadmoor and Izzy on her 1967 Simplicity 515 Serf, on which she pulled a couple siblings and the cousins around the grounds.

Today I took a few tractors over to the show grounds and Olivia used her 1967 Simplicity 616 Yeoman to pull over an antique water wagon for the steam tractors to use.  It is heavy but the 6hp Briggs had enough to pull it over there.

Mighty Mac composter

Well, I've been to Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and all over Michigan to get tractors and attachments, but when you find something you've always wanted 3 miles down the road? Awesome!  I got a Mighty Mac composter/shredder for the Sovereign.  Can't wait to try it out!

Site prep

Tonight Alex used my nephews Allis Chalmers B207e to go mow our campsite for the tractor show next weekend.  The grass was pretty thick but it did alright.
